Our Story
Here's the thing: none of us are originally from Poland. We all came here from different countries, which means we've all been through the integration process ourselves. And honestly? It was rough.
The hardest part wasn't that integration is complicated - it's that information is scattered everywhere. You have to piece together advice from different websites, Facebook groups, government pages, and hope you don't miss something crucial. One missed document or deadline can set you back months.
But we realized something important: adaptation doesn't have to be this hard when you have clear pathways and step-by-step guidance. That's the whole idea behind Uniora.
Why We Built This
This project is part of the "Uczelnie Przyszłości" (Universities of the Future) initiative - a government-backed program funded by the European Funds for Social Development and coordinated by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR). It supports innovative student projects that solve real problems in society.
We wanted to use this opportunity to help people like us - migrants trying to build a life in Poland. Whether it's legalization, finding work, learning the language, or just understanding how things work here, we're creating resources that give you the full picture, not just fragments.
Our Mission
We don't want you to just survive in Poland - we want you to build a quality life here. Not scraping by from payment to payment, but actually thriving. A life where you can enjoy what you do, pursue your goals, and feel at home.
